Katti Padmarao is the founder of Dalita Mahasabha that spearheaded the Dalit movement in Andhra Pradesh in the aftermath of killings of Dalits in Karamchedu in coastal Andhra. He has a wide range of writings to his credit. He is the visionary from Coastal Andhra region who welcomed the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh state.
